The 2+2 Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science - Business and AI program gives you a clear path from your associate degree to your bachelor’s degree.
You’ll start with the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in AI Software Engineering at Maestro College. These two years build a strong technical foundation — from programming and backend development to databases, web applications, and core AI concepts.
After completing your Associate of Applied Science (AAS) at Maestro College, you may continue to the Bachelor of Science (BS) at Maestro University through the 2+2 pathway, provided you meet the conditional admission criteria. This next stage also takes two years and represents your final stretch toward a bachelor's degree — so your progress continues naturally as you move from college to university.
Your first two years build a practical foundation in software development and the ways AI is used in real products. You’ll learn how programs work, how to design and build applications, and how AI tools shape the way modern products are created. You’ll explore programming, backend systems, databases, web development, and the core ideas behind machine learning and large language models.
These skills help you take part in real projects, contribute to technical decisions, and build features that combine software and AI in meaningful ways. They also introduce you to practical problem-solving — whether you’re improving a system, developing a new capability, planning a project, or integrating AI into a product flow.
You’ll complete your AAS in AI Software Engineering over nine terms. Each course develops practical skills that prepare you for university-level studies and a successful career.
