Delivery options

Maestro currently disburses loan funds via bank transfers.

When loan funds are released (Disbursement schedule)

Federal student loans are disbursed three times per academic year—once at the beginning of each term, following a two-week attendance verification period. Disbursement timing may vary depending on individual eligibility, program start dates, and enrollment status.

After Maestro verifies that you meet all federal eligibility requirements, such as maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), your federal financial aid is disbursed to your account. This verification process ensures that your aid is compliant with federal regulations. and can continue as long as you remain eligible. Because of Maestro College's HCM2 status, loan disbursements are currently slower than usual, and no loans will be provided for periods beginning after October 13, 2026. A disbursement that is not processed by the Department of Education is money you never borrowed — you won't owe funds you didn't receive.

Important Financial Aid Notice:

Maestro College recently received notification from the U.S. Department of Education that the institution has been placed on Heightened Cash Monitoring 2 (HCM2), an oversight and reimbursement funding method used by the Department for certain institutions participating in the federal student aid programs.

This process increases the level of federal review associated with financial aid transactions.

What This Means for Students:

Maestro College continues to work diligently with the U.S. Department of Education and its third-party servicers to process financial aid as efficiently as possible while complying with all federal requirements.

Students are encouraged to monitor their email and financial aid communications regularly and to submit any requested documentation promptly to avoid delays.

Questions regarding financial aid may be directed to the Financial Aid Office through the Student Services ticketing system.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through these additional federal requirements.
